Introducing Above.

It is our great pleasure to introduce the talented collaborative team that is Above. Based in Fitzroy Melbourne, Nyssa Marrow and Kerry Findlow work together on their progressive fashion label. We first saw their work via Penthouse Mouse 2011 and were blown away by the large scale hand cut paper banners they made to accompany their collection. In the large warehouse Docklands venue, their installation impressed us so much we knew we had to invite them to work with us in some way. What resulted was a window installation at our sister space, Pieces of Eight Gallery in Nov 2011 to Jan 2012.

As part of Melbourne Music Week, they created a layered series of devore' burn out panels that referenced digital music. It was a labour of love and an incredibly beautiful installation. Today we share with you the very special scarves they created after this inspirational project. The scarves are exclusive to Edition X and are made in small edition in three colour ways. A striking garment, we are so in amoured of the scarf, it looks as beautiful on as it does draped over a table or hung on a wall.
